In semesters 2 and 3, every student works on a final, large-scale game with fellow producers, programmers and artists.
Drifters
Overview:
What if I were to tell you that everything you know is wrong?
What if I were to tell you that man is not the dominant species on the planet? Or the most highly evolved? Or that we are not masters of our own destiny?
For thousands of years, creatures have lived among us; wolves in sheep's clothing. They have jumped from host to human host, leaving their mark. Creators and killers, law makers and breakers, they are called Drifters; and they are the true shapers of human history.
And their time is nearing an end.
With the reappearance of their Sovereign, the mysterious being who gave them life, these creatures of the ether are now compelled to revisit her throne. Housed in the newly opened Brunswick History Museum, they will encounter artifacts, touchstones from across their long lives, aptly categorized as 'devices of death.'
A battle is about to be waged, and the fate of their race hangs in the balance. Using all they've learned of man during their lives, each Drifter will blend in with the museum crowd and stalk the others until they can deliver the final blow.

Sultans of Scratch
Overview:
Sultans of Scratch is the next evolution of rhythm party games, bringing hip-hop culture and a competitive environment to the genre. Sultans of Scratch allows players to take on the role of a DJ and dancer, as two crews face off to see who can put on the hottest performance. Unlike other rhythm games, Sultans’ combo based gameplay allows players to choose which dance moves and scratches to use during their sets, instead of giving them discrete directions. Furthermore, the visual style presents the game in a fully 3d environment, creating an exciting performance for spectators as well.
Sultans of Scratch features fully mocapped animation of professional dancers, a custom built turntable peripheral made in collaboration with the UCF engineering department, and hot beats created by hip-hop producer Fresh Prodeuce. The game itself was created from the ground up in Gamebryo by 23 master’s students at FIEA.

BizarreCraft
Overview:
Picture this. In a post-apocalyptic world, you are the leader of one of two surviving factions. The ideologies of the other faction are an offense to yours and vice-versa. Do you:
A: Try to negotiate a truce so you can discuss your differences like civilized people?
B: March forth to battle your foe in an honorable, face-to-face clash?
C: Sneak around the back and launch sheep at them?
If you chose C, you’re ready for BizarreCraft. Outwit, outmaneuver, and outprank your enemy in a screwball strategy game unlike any other. Command patchwork creatures like the Sharkion and the Monkey-Doodle-Doo, or march forth with jury-rigged steam machines like the Blow Kart and the Paindulum. Prepare for fast-paced, hilarious fun in the most bizarre brawl of them all.
BizarreCraft was developed by 16 students of FIEA’s fourth graduating class. They incorporated Emergent’s Gamebryo engine and created their own fully-deterministic networking system. To find out more about BizarreCraft and to play the game, go to the BizarreCraft website.
